So high in fact that he’s reached the top of the pile.In a similar style, Canelo is right up there in terms of the top dogs pound for pound in the boxing world - meaning this potential fight could be of huge interest to many.Usman’s spot at the top of the UFC hierarchy comes after batting away Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal twice apiece in his past five fights.Now a new challenge in the form of the multiple weight champ Alvarez could offer a tempting matchup.But what does UFC chief White think about Alvarez as the 34-year-old Usman’s next matchup?It’s fair to say Dana White is not a fan of the matchup, labelling it “horrible” and “stupid”.
The veteran tastemaker has certainly rained on the parade of the rumours about a possible fight between the two, making his feelings clear to Sky Sports.
He said: "[Usman] is serious about it, he shouldn't be serious about it."I don't like that fight at all. Everything about it is horrible.
