New data shows that two fifths of people are worried about the effects of blue light on their eyes, with two thirds experiencing eye strain often when using their current monitors.
Blue light is a certain colour wavelength that makes up white light, which is made up of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet light.
According to website Prevent Blindness, over exposure of blue light can prematurely age the eyes. To combat these concerns, over half (56%) of Brits turn their screen brightness down, 47% use screen filters for their laptops and 42% say they use the dark mode on their laptop to reduce the amount of blue light, reports Wales Online.
