The charity has done work in Ukraine for a number of years, but recently due to the war, a lot more focus on Ukraine has been required.Bandmaster Lindsay McGregor said the war has ramped up focus for the work the Salvation Army does.“We did this to help the Salvation Army work that they do in Ukraine, although the Salvation Army has been in Ukraine for a number of years now with the war on we have a big focus on it.“We have done a few engagements over the past few months now to help raise funds and at the concert at Braehead we managed to raise a further £500 for the charity."Since the war in Ukraine, a lot of resources from different charities have been diverted to help people who are suffering and struggling due to the war.

Every penny raised by the Salvation Army for Ukraine goes to help people affected by the war," said Lindsay.The concert seemed to have hit a perfect note for shoppers as they were gathering to watch the band play throughout the day, with some opting to donate.
