Employment tribunal backs Bridge of Weir company over harassment claim

A woman who sent a work colleague an image of her dressed as a devil later sued for harassment after he replied “lucky ladies” when she told him she was a lesbian.

But a tribunal found Dominika Klukowska did not have a case after she made a string of allegations about the actions of personnel at the Bridge of Weir Leather Company.

The admin worker, who is gay, had sent the image of her dressed up as a red devil to the firm’s health and safety manager Billy Budgen - with whom she often exchanged “flirty” messages.Don't miss the latest headlines from around Renfrewshire.
