Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is believed to be involved in a potential takeover bid of Brazilian outfit Vasco da Gama which could see him use up some of his billions elsewhere.The Russian businessman, who has been owner at Stamford Bridge since 2003, has overseen five Premier League and two Champions League victories during that period.Abramovich might now be keen to try and taste similar success elsewhere, having watched his net worth climb to a stunning 10 billion over the past year according to Forbes.That ambition could well be fulfilled with Vasco da Gama, with the club on the lookout for new investors, with one of the groups interested said to involve Abramovich.Sport Witness have shared an update from Jorge Nicola that says 20 groups have been in touch with the club, and a Russian-based bid includes Abramovich in some form.They add that talks are currently evolving, and that Vasco president Jorge Salgado is set to travel to Europe where he will talk to the Russian group.While it is no confirmed whether Abramovich will be attending any meetings, the group in question is said to be 'led' by the 55-year-old.Will Chelsea retain their Champions League title this season?
