Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne had their Chelsea careers ended prematurely due to a "personality clash" with then-manager Jose Mourinho.That's according to the club's ex-head of loans, Eddie Newton, who worked closely with all three in the early to mid 2010s.Salah and De Bruyne are now two of the world's best players at Liverpool and Manchester City respectively, but their time at Chelsea was rocky.Having gone on to be elite level players, it's clear to see a lack of talent wasn't the issue, which Newton has said was definitely not the case.Instead, he believes their struggles to establish themselves at Stamford Bridge were down to their relationship with Mourinho. "I think Salah and De Bruyne wasn't about talent," Newton told Goal.
