On an afternoon that United and their supporters will now be desperate to forget, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side were no match for the Anfield outfit, who found themselves four goals to the good by the half time interval, courtesy of strikes from Naby Keita, Diogo Jota and Salah (2).
United, who had substitute Paul Pogba sent off in the second half, were simply blown away from Jurgen Klopp's rampant Merseysiders, who added a fifth goal after the break through Salah.
