Charlton Athletic winger Charlie Kirk has emerged as a transfer target for Hibs. The Easter Road club have expressed an interest in the 24-year-old but have still to make an offer.
Lee Johnson admitted at the weekend that he was still looking to strengthen his squad and that had been heightened by Aiden McGeady ’s long-term injury.
Charlton will listen to offers for Kirk but will want to recoup as much of the £500,000 they paid to land him from Crewe Alexandra last year.
New Charlton boss Ben Garner is trying to rebuild his own squad and looks like his club would be open to offers. Kirk joined Blackpool on loan in January with an option to buy this summer but the Seasiders decided against making the move permanent.
