NBC has renewed all three One Chicago series—Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D.—for the 2024-25 season. Med was renewed for Season 10, Fire for Season 13 and P.D. for Season 12.

It looks like Jesse Lee Soffer‘s Jay Halstead and Tracy Spiridakos‘ Hailey Upton might not just be TV partners!

Emily Longeretta “Chicago P.D.” is losing another member of Intelligence. Tracy Spiridakos, who portrays Hailey Upton, will be leaving after Season 11, multiple sources confirm to Variety. It is unknown how many episodes she will appear in in the upcoming season.

The upcoming (abbreviated) eleventh season of NBC’s Chicago P.D. will be the last for Tracy Spiridakos, Deadline has confirmed. She will depart the Wolf Entertainment cop drama after eight seasons, seven of them as a series regular.

Variety reported on Tuesday.The actress, 35, has played Upton on the NBC drama since joining in Season 4 as a recurring character.

Then, in 2013, Soffer began his relationship with Dick Wolf. Soffer’s character, Jay Halstead, was introduced on Wolf’s “Chicago Fire” (the first “Law & Order: SVU” spinoff that would go on to launch the franchise) and then became one of the leads on “Chicago P.D.” when it debuted the following year. Soffer appeared on 189 episodes — every hour of Seasons 1 through 9 and the first three of 10. (The show’s 200th episode airs on Feb. 22.)

Jesse Lee Soffer appeared in his final episode of NBC’s “Chicago P.D.” on Wednesday night. After another hour of shutting out his wife and partner, Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos), Jay finally realized that he had changed — and not for the better. During a case that involved saving the reputation of an Army vet who had assisted in a robbery, Jay went around the law (once again) to take down the robbers. He didn’t turn in the vet, who ultimately died saving another woman, in order to protect the man’s family and reputation. However, knowing that he’d broken the law once again — and stabbed a man in the process — Jay chose to resign from Intelligence.
