Channel 4 are reportedly keen to bring Changing Rooms back on our screens, with bosses said to be keen to bring back original hosts Carol Smillie and Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.
The show originally ran on BBC One between 1996 and 2004, starring Carol, Laurence and Linda Barker, among others.But given its "cult following" and the "copycat makeover shows" it inspired, it's reported that Channel 4 want to revive it."Channel 4 execs would like to tap back into some of that telly magic and exploit the current nostalgia for bygone shows," a TV insider told The Sun.Carol, now 58, fronted the show between 1996 and 2003, until she stepped down.Then, Laurence, 55, took over as host after serving as a designer on the hugely popular show until it ended in.
