Ashley Banjo tells angry BGT viewers 'change is inevitable' after 3,000 Ofcom complaints

Ashley Banjo told racist Britain's Got Talent viewers that "change is inevitable" as he responded to criticism following Diversity's powerful BLM performance.

The 31-year-old BGT judge and his dance troupe divided viewers during Saturday's semi-finals by dedicating their show to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Since the one-off performance, BGT has received over 2,996 Ofcom complaints from furious viewers. Responding to the backlash, Ashley told racist critics that they 'do not represent the views of the public'.

Sharing the post with his 868,000 Instagram followers, Ashley posted a message which criticised celebrity people of colour, before offering his response. "Dear Joshua, Hamilton, Banjo and any other Black public figures .
