Captain Tom Moore has got a number one single after his NHS fundraiser reached an incredible £26million. The 99-year-old's charity collaboration with Michael Ball and The NHS Voices of Care Choir on the song You'll Never Walk Alone has topped The Official Big Top 40 chart on Sunday.
It comes after he raised millions by walking up and down his garden in his home in Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire. The single is also raising money for the NHS.
It joins Dame Vera Lynn and Katherine Jenkins' duet of We'll Meet Again, which entered the chart at number three. Captain Tom's daughter Hannah Ingram-Moore was overwhelmed when she found out the news.
