A little boy with a big heart is using pedal power to help raise funds for the intensive care unit at Ayr Hospital,which is currently treating patients during the coronavirus pandemic.Six-year-old Cameron Blackwell was so moved by the heroics of 100-year-old Captain Tom Moore that he decided to embark on a fundraising challenge of his own.Proud mum Natalie, 39, an occupational therapist from Ayr, said: “After watching Captain Tom Moore on the TV, Cameron said he could raise money for the NHS by riding his bike for 100 miles.“He’s been covering 25 miles a week in line with government guidance and safe social distancing.
