evoke.ieAccording to The Sun, there are some very famous names in the running to play Tom himself.These include 90-year-old Clint Eastwood and 87-year-old Michael Caine as well as Anthony Hopkins, 82, and Dick Van Dyke, 94.However, nothing has been confirmed as of yet, but from his role in World War 2 to his fundraising efforts this year, he has had quite the story to tell.The publication went on to say that before Hollywood getd their hands on the story, ITV is set to make a two-part series about Tom’s incredible life.Captain Tom raised more than £33 million (€36 million) for NHS charities by walking laps of his garden in Bedfordshire.He then went on to become the oldest person to score a No 1 hit with his and Michael Ball’s version of You’ll.
