A British millionaire businessman who had part of his ear bitten off during a heated exchange on board a flight to Majorca has spoken out.

Manufacturing company director Neil Endley said the shock incident was "very distressing" and rather than enjoy a weekend away he was instead taken to hospital.

During the half empty Ryanair flight from Birmingham International on Thursday, the intoxicated man was refused any more alcohol by staff.

So instead, he grabbed Mr Endley's drink and downed it, before a resultant confrontation ended in the savage attack. The Spanish Civil Guard confirmed a 29-year-old man was "overpowered and arrested" during the flight, with the victim left traumatised and covered in blood.
