Blue plague cops seize half a million tablets worth £250k from Paisley house during raid

‘street Valium’ tablets were seized from a house in Paisley. Cops swooped on the property in the Foxbar area of the town shortly before 6pm on Wednesday, June 9.

The pre-planned operation netted the massive quantity of Etizolam tablets worth an estimated £250,000.Police Scotland have since confirmed that a 45-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the seizure.

She is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Friday, June 11.Detective Inspector Ian Ross said: "This is a significant recovery and our communities are safer having these drugs out of circulation.“They cannot be sold and they cannot bring harm and misery to people's lives.
