Manchester United have added Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl to their managerial shortlist as the pursuit of a permanent head coach continues.
That is according to the Mirror, who say the former RB Leipzig chief is a name that the club are prepared to consider should they fail to snap up either of their first choices, Mauricio Pochettino or Erik ten Hag.
Following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's sacking, the ex-Tottenham head coach was heavily linked with the vacant position in November but Paris Saint-Germain played hardball.
The Austrian was first mooted in the conversation prior to the Saints' visit to Old Trafford where it saw Hasenhuttl come up against his former director, Ralf Rangnick.
