Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has been pictured enjoying cricket on holiday in Barbados. Rangnick was appointed as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's interim successor in November but the German has found it difficult to inspire an upturn in fortunes as he would have hoped.
The March international break has now begun and United find themselves four points behind fourth-placed Arsenal, with the North London club also having one game in hand over the Reds to play.
United's hopes of securing Champions League football have taken a blow this week following Arsenal's win this weekend. Rangnick's objective for the remainder of the season was to lead the club to finish in the top four and that now looks unlikely. However, United still have nine games to play and Rangnick and his players might benefit from the break in the domestic schedule.
United's players have had the chance to recharge their batteries in between the Champions League defeat against Atletico Madrid and the international fixtures starting and Rangnick has used that opportunity to head on holiday to Barbados.
