Arsene Wenger should return to Arsenal as chairman following the retirement of Sir Chips Keswick as he can provide invaluable experience to young owner Josh Kroenke.
That’s according to Gunners legend Martin Keown, who appears to be keen to see his old boss take a position upstairs at the Emirates Stadium.
Keswick recently retired after 15 years as chairman at Arsenal, having confirmed he would step down at the end of the season in normal circumstances.
There is now an empty seat on the Gunners’ board, which former defender Keown believes should be taken by Wenger, who is Arsenal’s most successful manager ever.
