Police Scotland have issued a warning after car thieves carried out a series of targeted raids on Ford Kuga vehicles. Officers in Argyll and West Dunbartonshire are also appealing for information after three separate cars of the same model were stolen during the last month.

The first incident took place between 1am and 1.30am on May 11 when a white Ford Kuga was stolen from a property in Abercromby Crescent, Helensburgh.

A second car, which was black in colour and is understood to belong to a paramedic, was taken from Beeches Road in Clydebank between 12pm on June 9 and 11am on June 10.

A third vehicle, which was green, was taken from a property on Millen Drive, Clydebank, between 2am and 3.35am on June 17. Investigators believe all three.
