Dennis Bergkamp has named his favourite goal of his career - but snubbed his much-revered strike for Arsenal against Newcastle.
The Dutchman scored some superb goals throughout his career, with his beauty away at St James' Park a real Bergkamp special.
After receiving a pass from teammate Robert Pires with his back to goal, Bergkamp spun marker Nikos Dabizas with a single touch, before shrugging off the defender and slotting the ball past Shay Given to score.
Discussing the goal with ex-Arsenal colleague Martin Keown for The Mail, Bergkamp said: "I got texts after that game. ‘Did you mean it?’ In my head, there was no question. "It was a sequence of little movements which started with a pass that came behind me.
