Britain's vaccination programme has become one of the government's rare successes during this pandemic. Millions of Brits have now received the jab and the country is well on its way to hitting the official target of 15 million vaccinations by mid-February.

However, some are still in the dark about the consequences of the vaccine and what they can and cannot do after receiving it.

It takes a few weeks to develop immunity to coronavirus after receiving the jab, according to Public Health England. Both the Pfizer and Oxford AstraZeneca jabs have to be administered twice to a patient before they are fully vaccinated, although one injection still provides some immunity.
