Alan Pardew leaves Dutch side ADO Den Haag after Eredivisie season cancelled

Alan Pardew has left his role as manager of Dutch side ADO Den Haag. The former Newcastle and West Ham boss took charge of the club in January with the aim of keeping the side in the Eredivisie.

The Dutch top flight was declared null and void last week which means Den Haag will once again be playing in the league next term.

Pardew has now left the club by mutual consent after only eight games at the helm of the struggling outfit. "Personally I have a lot of good feelings for this football club," he said in a statement this evening. "I enjoyed the passion of the fans and look back to a wonderful experience working in Holland. "I am sad that my time there has ended and wish them every success in the future." Pardew was criticised last week
