Alan Pardew hits back in Den Haag bonus row after Ruud Gullit criticism

Alan Pardew has rammed Ruud Gullit's words back down his throat in the £100,000 survival bonus row. Dutch legend Gullit went on the front foot to seriously question whether Pardew was worthy of a bonus by default because ADO Den Haag were spared relegation when the Eredivisie was declared null and void on Friday.

Pardew's side were without a win in seven games and seven points adrift of safety when they were handed a miracle escape. Den Haag's survival meant a £100,000 bonus clause was triggered as part of Pardew's contract when he joined the club in December.
