Alan Pardew will receive a £100,000 bonus from ADO den Haag after successfully keeping the Dutch club in the Eredivisie. The league minnows were seven points adrift of safety with eight games remaining and seemed destined for relegation.
However, they were saved on Friday by the Royal Dutch Football Association's (KNVB) decision to cancel the season, including promotion from and relegation to the second tier Eerste Divisie.
The controversial decision to void the season has been met with the threat of legal action from some clubs and labelled as a "disgrace".
