Gina Stewart - has revealed how she lost 8kg in a month without cutting calories or her portion sizes. The 51-year-old from Australia took to to her @ginastewarthealth Instagram account to explain all about the weight loss.

She told fans that she'd managed to lose the weight by following the AIP (Autoimmune Protocol) diet.This aims to reduce inflammation and relieve other symptoms of autoimmune disorders.She claims you don't have to cut calories or portion sizes on the diet and says it's known to boost immunity.Addressing her followers, Gina wrote: "HOW I LOST 8KG IN 4 WEEKS on the AIP diet - strictly following the AIP protocol and reducing inflammation from my body by eliminating all foods that cause inflammation."HOW IT WORKS - An anti-inflammatory diet does not follow strict rules about calories or portion sizes."It suggests a variety of anti-inflammatory foods to eat daily, rather than focusing on eating one or two specific foods or nutrients."This ensures a greater variety of protective food components, some of which may work synergistically to boost immunity."Adding to the post, she said: "These foods provide plant chemicals (phytochemicals), antioxidants, and fibre that prevent cellular stresses, inhibit inflammatory signals caused by the immune system, promote healthy gut microbiota, and slow down digestion to prevent surges in blood glucose."They may also favourably affect the composition of fat cells to further reduce."Talking about her results, Gina said: "I have noticed I have more energ , my hair and skin have improved, I have no bloating or inflammation showing in my face or body."I feel younger and healthier.
