Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

A woman was allegedly refused service at a JD Wetherspoon pub because the manager had a 'gut feeling' about her and the friend she was with.

The 19-year-old stopped by The Glass House in St Helens with her 24-year-old pal yesterday - but the pair were left stunned when their drinks were swiftly taken away from them.

After placing their order through the Wetherspoons app, an employee arrived with their drinks before asking them to show their ID.

He asked to scan the friend's licence and came back a short time later, leaving both drinks on the table. However, just 10 minutes later the bar's manager went over, picked up the beverages and refused to serve them alcohol.
