Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Woman found dead a week after being raped in her home by intruder who hasn't been caught

A woman who was raped in her own home has been found dead. Angeline Phillips' attacker remains at large following the rape at her home in Salford on Saturday, January 23.

Police launched a manhunt in the days that followed, Manchester Evening News reported. Ms Phillips, 35, was found dead a week later on Saturday, January 30.

On the night of the attack 'well-built' man entered her home through an unlocked back door between 10.30pm and 11pm and then raped her, detectives said.

Prior to her death, which is not being treated as suspicious, Ms Phillips was being supported by specially-trained officers, Greater Manchester Police said.
