Woman, 35, raped in own home by tattooed intruder still on run found dead a week later

raped in her own home by an unknown intruder.Angeline Phillips, 35, was attacked in her house in Salford, Greater Manchester, on January 23, the Manchester Evening News reports.Police launched a manhunt but Ms Phillips was found dead a week later, on January 30, Greater Manchester Police have confirmed.Her death is not being treated as suspicious.

Her attacker has not yet been caught and the police investigation continues.A spokeswoman for Bolton Coroners' Court confirmed a file relating to Ms Phillips' death had been received.Due to the contact, Ms Phillips had with Greater Manchester Police prior to her death, a referral "in line with normal procedure" has been made to the force's Professional Standards Branch.Neighbours said she had.
