A Wipeout contestant who died last fall after completing the television obstacle course succumbed to a heart attack, according to medical officials.

Michael Paredes, 38,suffered a medical emergency on theSanta Clarita set of the TBS show on Nov. 18. He was treated by on-site medical personnel before being taken to the hospital.

He died the next day. Paredessuffered a heart attack from undetected coronary artery disease, according to the report, cited by NBC News.The toxicology report showed Parades had neither drugs nor alcohol in his system when he died.
