When most people think of Eastenders character Lauren Branning, the chances are the first star to spring to mind is Jacqueline Jossa, who played the troubled teen from 2010 onwards. However, long before the actress took over the role, Lauren was actually portrayed by child star Madeline Duggan, who first arrived on our screens all the way back in 2006.

Madeline Duggan, who played EastEnders' original Lauren Branning, looks very different from her soap days, in  glam snaps from her Instagram account.  The actress, now 28, starred on EastEnders from 2006 to 2010 as Max Branning's eldest daughter, Lauren, until Jacqueline Jossa took over the role. Madeline now boasts 26k followers on her public Instagram account, where she's posted a slew of glamorous snaps. In one post, Madeline showed off her chocolate-brown locks, bronzed eye makeup and glossy lips, whilst in another, she looked glam in a pink dress that was slashed to the navel.
