Warrington Wolves have won the race to sign highly-regarded Championship forward James Harrison. Rugby League Live can reveal that the Wire have secured the 24-year-old, beating a number of other clubs to his signature.
Castleford Tigers, Hull FC, Huddersfield Giants and Leeds Rhinos are also thought to have been in the running to sign the prop, who is the son of former Great Britain international, Karl.
Harrison has emerged as one of the best players outside of Super League since his move to Featherstone. Arriving from Batley, he has transitioned from back-row to front-row but remained a prominent try-scoring threat, averaging almost a try every three games for Rovers.
