A long-standing Waitrose shopper has been left disappointed after paying £2.99 for a product - only to discover it's covered in Aldi branding.Joe Grimshaw from Leighton Buzzard picked up a pack of mini pancakes called 'cocktail blinis' at his local Waitrose store back in February - only to return home to find he may have been ripped off."I've been a Waitrose customer with my family all of my life," Joe told Mirror Money."It's extremely disappointing to find you've paid the expensive Waitrose price for a much cheaper product."Joe purchased the pack of cocktail blinis in February as part of his weekly food shop.He paid £2.99 at the checkout - but after discovering the German supermarket's branding at the back, he realised the same item was on.
