A Virgin Media customer is warning other customers amid claims engineers are turning up at doorsteps despite not being requested to do so.

Customers of the firm stated that workers have been chapping doors despite no call from the company, with Virgin saying "sorry" and that those impacted will receive a £90 compensation payment, as writes Birmingham Live.

In a bid to seek advice, a customer wrote into Birmingham Live. saying: "Despite never having requested a visit, nor having any fault, we have been deluged for three weeks with messages and visits from its engineers.

If we cancel, it sends us another appointment for the next day and threatens a fine of £25 if we’re not in. We’ve cancelled about 13 appointments and had unannounced visits from at least six engineers.
