DWP issues two-week application warning over £300 cost of living payment due this winter

The Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) has issued a warning to people who could be eligible for a £300 cost of living payment due this winter.

The DWP is handing out five separate payments to vulnerable people over this year and next to support them through the cost of living crisis.

They include three payments worth £900 in total to people on means-tested benefits, a £150 payment to people on disability benefits and a £300 payment to pensioners.

People who may be eligible for the £300 pensioner payment are now being warned that the have just two weeks left to apply for Pension Credit to ensure they get the extra cash.
