A murder-probe is underway in Liverpool after a man in his 20s was shot in the Litherland area of the city. Merseyside Police say the 20-year-old man was gunned down on Harrington Road, on Tuesday night after gun shots were heard to ring out.
Police said emergency services were called to the scene at about 11.10pm to reports of a shooting and found a window blown out at the property.
The victim, who is still to be named, was taken to hospital but died of his injuries. No arrests have yet been made, The Echo report.
Detective Inspector Tracey Martin said: “We are in the very early stages of an investigation this morning as we work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the violent and tragic killing of a young man in Litherland.
