Forty-three years before John Travolta lost his wife, Kelly Preston, to breast cancer, Travolta’s girlfriend, Diana Hyland, died of the same disease.

Travolta revealed on Instagram that Preston died on Sunday at the age of 57 after a secret two-year battle with breast cancer.

He said that the Jerry MaGuire star “fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many,” and her “love and life will always be remembered.” Back in 1977, when Travolta was just 23-years-old, he also lost Hyland to breast cancer when she was only 41.
