gang has been charged with the murder of a teen who was lured into woods, slashed with machetes, shot and buried in a pit.Jeustin David Maldonado, 22, from Long Island, New York, is already in prison having been convicted of killing 16-year-old Alexon Moya in December 2016.
Maldonado is also linked to two other murders, and has now been charged with that of Osmin Campos-Sandoval, 19, who was attacked in woodland in the Hempstead area of Long Island.
Campos-Sandoval's skeletal remains were discovered on October 6, 2020, by a New York State Police Department cadaver-sniffer dog.Police say that he was killed as part of a gang dispute, on or around June 1, 2016, with Maldonado becoming the fifth person arrested in connection to the incident.
Sandra Tobar Mejia, Christian Rodriguez, Gerson Stanley Juarez and Raul Ponce have all been charged with second-degree murder.
