Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Inspector Nichola Johnson said that urgent veterinary checks found that the animals had “unnecessarily suffered”. She said: “As soon as I entered the flat I could hear what sounded like a large number of puppies barking and squealing from what is the living area. “The smell of ammonia in the property was extremely strong.“There was a lot of noise coming from the kitchen area and a space next to it.

All I could see was some sheets covering up something.“I began removing the sheets to find in total two black crates and five cat carriers, all containing puppies.“None of the accommodation had water or bedding provided and were completely devoid of any toys or environmental enrichment.”Three of the adult dogs have now been re-homed by the Dogs Trust, while two other adults are now ready to be re-homed, having been cared for by the charity.One puppy died just three days before the RSCPA intervened, after the man told his vets that he could not afford the treatment needed to care for it.
