Teenager charged with murder of Dylan Keelan who was stabbed to death

A teenage boy has been charged over the murder of Dylan Keelan in Dukinfield last Friday. The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reason, has been charged with murder and threatening a person with a blade/ sharply pointed article in a public place, according to GMP.

He has been remanded in custody for a hearing at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today (February 9). READ MORE: 'Game over g!' Dylan, 20, was fatally stabbed at around 9.30pm on Cheetham Hill Road, Dukinfield, on Friday February 4. In a moving statement on Sunday, Dylan's mum Nicole described him as a "lovely, hardworking, kind and respectful boy" and said his shock death had left her "broken and distraught." A murder investigation was launched by GMP's Major Incident Team and enquiries are ongoing.

Anyone with information or dash cam footage from the surrounding area at around the time of the incident is asked to contact police.
