UK temperatures edging lower and lower into single digits, widespread snow looks set to fall any day now. Recently, WXCharts revealed that temperatures could plummet to -2C as we enter one of the coldest December months in living memory.

The Met Office has now issued a long-range forecast detailing how, when and where we will be seeing the white stuff in the coming days.

From November 14 to 23, this coming Sunday to Tuesday, they say that there is an "increasing chance of some wintry conditions, mainly over the higher ground in the north".

They added that there is a "slight risk" of snow falling in lower regions during this period. Low-pressure systems are expected to "dominate" for those days, with weather "remaining changeable and.
