Two roads in Oldham have been closed after torrential rain across the region saw rivers burst their banks and flood the area.
Stannybrook Road by Daisy Nook Country Park and Platting Road in Grasscroft have both been closed completely because of flooding.
Oldham Council posted about the closures on their social media channels, asking all residents to avoid both areas. "Due to rising river levels, we've had to close both roads. "They will be reopened as soon as the water drops to a safe level."
