Dancing On Ice stars Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have slammed former Strictly dancer James Jordan as they hit out at claims that the show is "fixed".Judges Jayne, 64, and Chris, 63, admitted feeling "bored" at suggestions the show is giving an unfair advantage to contestants who come in with professional dance training as they cited James as an example of the lack of truth behind the accusations.Viewers have hit out at former Strictly professional Brendan Cole on the current series as they feel his professional dancer training has helped him progress on the show. But now Jayne and Chris have insisted that Brendan's one-time Strictly colleague James put on a “very weak” performance as a skater before he won the show in 2019.Talking to The Sun Jayne said: “We're used to it, aren't we, Chris really?”They then confessed being "bored" of the accusations as Chris said: “We're just judging what we see.“But the majority of the time, it's the viewers at home that are voting to keep people in.”Jayne then gave James as an example saying: “James Jordan, we were very excited that he was doing it.“But his actual skating skills at the beginning were really very weak, very poor, and it was only the fact that he went away and worked really hard that moved him on.”Their comments came after Happy Mondays star Bez, 57, said he felt contestants with pro dance training had an advantage after he was voted off the show.He told The Sun: “For everybody, we're all in the same boat.

Everyone has to learn how to skate and that is such a hard skill to learn.“You've got to give everyone credit for it. To do it on ice, it's such a difficult skill.
