Dancing on Ice's Kimberly Wyatt comes third in epic ITV final as she misses out on crown
Kimberly Wyatt has come third place on ITV's Dancing on Ice.It means the Pussycat Dolls star missed out on performing the iconic Bolero routine in front of world famous figure skating duo Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean. The grand final of the hit ITV skating show kicked off at 7pm on Sunday night (March 27) after weeks of dazzling ice rink routines from this year's star-studded line-up.Show hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby returned to the helm after Holly missed the semi-finals due to catching Covid. The final saw pro dancer finalists Regan Gascoigne, Brendan Cole and Kimberly Wyatt take to the rink one final time in a bid to impress the ice panel.Brendan was joined by his skating partner Vanessa Bauer, Kimberly with Matt Hanretty, and Regan with Karina Manta. They were battling it out in front of judges Oti Mabuse, Ashley Banjo and world-famous skating legends Torvill and Dean. However, despite all three displaying incredible skating skills this year, only one of the celebs could be crowned the victor of this year's series, and Kimberly was axed first. It is a tradition on the show that the show's two remaining finalists recreate Torvill and Dean's Bolero routine which won them a Gold medal at the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics.Reacting to her third place announcement, Kimberly said: "Thank you so much, this has been such a beautiful experience and I'm just so grateful to everyone for everything that they've done for us."Her skating partner Matt added: "The production is incredible.
