Regan Gascoigne was given a full house of nines tonight on Dancing On Ice, but many viewers didn’t feel he was worthy of such a high score after he was heavily critiqued by the judges. Dancer Regan is one of the favourites to win, having consistently performed to a high standard with partner Karina Manta.
Tonight, the pair kicked off the show with a routine to You Can’t Stop The Beat from Hairspray, as they dazzled in another impressive performance.
However, it wasn’t all perfect as Regan suffered a couple of slip-ups, which were picked up by the judges. Christopher Dean also told Regan he needed to up the complexity of his skates as he felt the transitions were ‘too easy’.
Despite the critiques and stumbles, he was still given five nines from the panel, which included guest judge Dame Arlene Phillips.
