DANCING On Ice viewers have rallied behind Connor Ball who they think keeps getting under marked by the judges. The Vamps star, 25, has fast become a fan favourite not only for his stoicism in the face of ongoing injuries, but also for his skills on the ice.
Against the odds, injury-prone Connor Ball made it to the semi-finals - after he managed to stay on his feet for his entire routine.
Connor and partner Alexandra Schauman surprised fans with a quirky routine to the song Cecilia by Simon and Garfunkel. They pulled off the fun dance during the show dedicated to figure skating legends and DOI judges, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
He was told by judges they'd "never seen him like that" and praised him for trying something new. But Ashley Banjo admitted the star's injury in his legs from the previous week's show may have held him back.
