Two planes left wedged together for hours after crash on tarmac at UK airport

A plane crash left one plane wedged underneath another after a jet collided with a stationary aircraft at an airport in Scotland.The collision occurred at 6pm on Tuesday June 16th, 2020, at Aberdeen Airport and involved a former Flybe Aircraft and a stationary LoganAir jet.On impact, the LoganAir jet slightly lifted off of the ground, and the ex-Flybe Bombardier Q400slide partially underneath it, wedging it underneath the aircraft.Aberdeen Airport’s fire safety crews raced to the scene as a recovery operation for the damaged aircraft got underway.No injuries have been reported as a result of the crash, and the pilot is believed to be have come out of the accident unscathed.An investigation into the incident has been launched by the Air.
