A probe has been launched after a plane veered off the runway at Glasgow Airport. The Loganair flight had been returning from the Scots island of Barra when the incident occurred at around 12.30pm on Sunday, April 5.
Pilots on board flight LM452 were forced to make an escape from the grass verge after it skid off the runway. Emergency services raced to the scene as part of Glasgow Airport's safety protocols.
Fortunately, the plane was not damaged in the incident.There were also no passengers on board at the time.The Air Accident Investigation Branch (AAIB) has now launched a probe into the incident.
