YouTuber Jenna Marbles quits site after Nicki Minaj blackface impression sparks outrage

mirror.co.ukJenna Marbles has quit YouTube over an old impression she did of Nicki Minaj that involved blackface. The comedian, whose real name Jenna Mourey, made videos for over 10 years and amassed more than 20million subscribers.
In 2011 she recorded a video of herself doing an impression of Minaj which involved darkening her skin. The same year she posted a video in which she said: "Hey, Ching Chong Wing Wong/...
Sorry, that was racist/ I'm bad at rap songs." Mourey, 33, has now filmed a video explaining that she is making most of her videos private and intends to stop making new ones.
Speaking in a new video called 'A Message', she said: "I think I'm just going to move on from this channel, for now. "I don't know if that's forever.
