Tributes have been paid to a beloved and "highly respected" former Scots teacher who has died. Brendan Adey, 65, had retired after educating generations of kids in Aberdeen.
He died this week although his cause of death is unclear.Friends and family have reacted with shock as they had been speaking to Brendan just days previously.He was well known in sporting circles throughout the city and had risen to senior roles at Aberdeen schools where he was beloved by pupils.An Aberdeen City Council spokeswoman said: “Brendan Adey was assistant principal teacher of physical education at Aberdeen Grammar School until his retirement."He was a highly respected professional teacher who was passionate about sport and passionate about learning.
